Title: Visivox SCM mics and pre: any users?

Hey all,

I read a pretty long review about this Canadian-made gear, seems that it used to be popular in the minidisc community a few years back:

Visivox used to have a website, but it was taken down in 2005:

After that, the business migrated to Ebay, but since 2007 nothing has been for sale:

Has anyone here used Visivox? How does it compare to other budget options? They sometimes surface second hand, I'm contemplating picking it up on the cheap...
