Title: Core Sound Binaural Mics
Post by: reorocks on March 30, 2009, 09:00:20 PM
Are Core Sound Binaural Mics good? I was never planning to get mics, but my Zoom H2 distorts really easily. I've heard that external mics are not the greatest used with a Zoom H2. I don't have the budget for another recorder right now. I got to save just to get mics and a battery box which will be $260 together which is not bad, but I still got to save for a few weeks. I'm not really familiar with a battery box as I'm a new taper. So just give me any info about these mics. Thanks

I've used core sound mics in the past...  In my opinion, get some church audio mics and preamp.  Better quality and sound.  I'm use the CA-11 card/omnis and the 9100 pre.  Couldn't be happier with the upgrade.  My recordings with the core souns mics seemed dull in comparison ti the CA mics...
