Anybody played with the FLAC functionality yet?

Looks awesome! I'll try it out this weekend. You know if it provides compression ratio options like the frontend?

Appears that you can save your split tracks to FLAC, saving a step and HD space. I'll let you know more when I try it.

ahhhh, i see, so you track out your wavs, then FLAC in cdwave, then save in cdwave, correct???

thats pretty cool!!! ;)

I get an error when trying to play back a 24/48 file that says, "The specified format is not supported or cannot be translated. Use the Capabilities function to determine the supported formats."

Of course, I don't see any capabilities function, and 24/48 works fine in v1.91. I'll send the author a bug report.

There is an option in the save dialog to save as FLAC with compression level options.

nice, so it saves as a flac file, thats neato!!!

hmmm, i guess you need it to playback to track it tho :hmmm:
