Title: Canare L-4E6s / L-4E5C Star Quad Question...
Post by: cavernut on May 01, 2009, 11:34:17 PM
OK Ive figured out the difference between these two cables.

Just in case your interested.
However when wiring with either of these, I am going to use two conductors for Positive, two for Neutral, and the shield for ground......Is this correct?

Thanks,
Michael

This is partially correct.  I believe that the blue are for positive and white for neutral.  But the two wires should always be the same color.  You did not say that so I just wanted to stress it.

Cheers

For all I know what boojum said is indeed the standard scheme, but since + and - are often called "hot" and "cold", I use white for + as in "white hot" and blue for - as in, well, blue is just cold, ya know? Brrrr...

Peace,
Sanaka
