Post by: desertoasistx on May 03, 2009, 03:56:58 PM
Hi all,

I recorded a show the other night and all of a sudden I started to get a error message saying (Warning 20000) I've never seen this and I played it back and sure enough there was digital skipping in the recording what does this mean?

Never seen this warning myself...
Which Rockbox build are you running?
Are you able to reproduce it?

Usually, I suspect all error messages on the iriver to be HDD related. It's the part most prone to breaking down.
Have you done the CF mod yet?

I had that problem a couple years ago. It was a bug in the RockBox REP build I was using. I brought it to the attention of the developers and they had it fixed in the next build.

buffer overflow error...

Search in the recording section of forums at rockbox.org.

When is the last time you update your build?

Yep, buffer overrun is what I remember, too. I absolutely know it was a problem with a specific build I was running, because I never had the problem before I used the bad build and never had a problem after they fixed it.
