Marantz has a new PMD620 firmware update (v 2.33, released on the same day as the 661 update; the programmers there must have been busy!): http://www.d-mpro.com/users/folder.asp?FolderID=4313&CatID=19&SubCatID=188 (http://www.d-mpro.com/users/folder.asp?FolderID=4313&CatID=19&SubCatID=188)
I mailed them about new features, and they said:
Thanks for the message.
The PMD620 update improves card compatibility.
Feel free to contact technical support at (630) 741-0330, option 1, if you have any further questions.
So maybe not too useful if you aren't having any issues with the cards you are using...

I can report that the PMD620 2.33 firmware updated fixed problems I was having with PNY Optima 8GB and Sandisk 8GB SDHC cards, even though they aren't in the list of fixes.
Thanks Marantz, just a little late!
