no Kevin, you need 460s to run the ck1x (also 2x & 3x)> MK46s

the only other actives made by AKG are for the 390s

there is a JK Labs box that will run the ck61, 62, 63s (not sure about the 68 & 69s) and also the Geffel 200 and 210 capsules
but that box does not need mic bodies and outputs line level signals

I don't know if that box will run the ck1, 2, 3 & 8s with the a60 reducer ring or not

The JK labs Box for AKG's will run all the ck6_ caps and the vintage ck_ caps with the reducer ring (probably not the ck4 though since it doesn't work to well with 460's).  I had a JK Labs box for a while and thought it was nice.  Didn't sound any better then the mk46/ck_x set up so I sold it and hung on to the actives.

The 480's definately do not work with the mk46/ck_x system.  I got a set from a guy in Scotland and he tried them on the 480's and they did not function nor did they cause any damage to the caps, cables or 480 bodies.  I know because I bought the whole kit and kaboodle from him ;D.

yup, the bias ring is there on the 480's, but the required supply is not connected to the ring. that is one of the first things that will get resolved once the active cables are available.
