Title: Superlux HM32 mounts

So I've got a pair of the Superlux HM32 shockmounts, but apparently I seemed to have cracked both of mine, in the same place.

I haven't had these all that long (little over a year), but is this pretty common for these shockmounts? Attached is a photo

I did the exact same thing in the first week.  I ordered the HM-30 I believe, the ones that do not have the rubber bands on the end.  haven't had any issue in over two years....

Love the HM32's for my AKG's, but they are fragile! You gotta be careful no to overtighten them or they will definitely break as shown above. Also the plastic threads will wear out QUICK, I just leave mine attached to a vert bar and never remove them. Not ideal for bag space but it definitely extends the life...
