Title: Fostex FR-2LE 32GB CF card?

Has anyone used a 32GB CF in the FR-2LE CF Field Recorder? I would love to know

I have neither a Fostex nor a 32Gb CF card...

BUT!

I've done some reading recently into this sort of thing and I found that both devices I looked at actually accepted a bigger card than was officially supported.

That's a Microtrack II which I think officially says 8Gb CF but folk on here have used 32Gb, I'm using 16Gb; and the Nokia 5610 officially supports 4Gb SD card, but photographic proof was posted online of it recognising a 16Gb card.

What's the official max? If it's 8/16Gb I'd bet it'd work... but don't take my word for it, wait for some proof before throwing your money on that smoking bonfire!  >:D

Thank I used a 32 in the MicroTrack and the Fostex read my 32, I will test at home if it tapes ok ect....

I will keep ya posted.
