Title: Marenius 4 channel pre-amp
Post by: noahbickart on January 16, 2004, 08:42:34 AM
I ran across this 4 channel mixer while browsing Markertek, who have it for ~$750. It seems interesting:
It can be DV powered from a 12v
It can do M/S
It can be set for 0 gain (I bet the 25 would be perfect for Bluegrass)

I realize that all in one boxes are all the rage these days but...

Does anyone have any experiance with this unit?

I owned the SMF-5 and it was a great sounding unit. The only problem with it was the fact that you needed an external pad for pretty much any source (the gain range was 30 to 70 dB, no pad!!).

As far as I can tell, the 4210 has a much higher maximum input, and thus shouldn't have this problem at all.
