Title: what would cause digi noise...
Post by: vegeta_ban on July 17, 2009, 12:43:52 AM
listening to here comes sunshine from 7/15/09 ratdog, and there is just a quick blip out of nowhere, the rest of the recording didn't have problems just a blip there. Could this be caused by the jb3 being bumped or something?

if its a jb3 its most likely dropped samples causing an abrupt vertical waveform. ive never seen the jb3 perform reliably without dropping samples, i tested the firmwares up until they stopped developing it. in most cases its not an audible flaw, but im sure thats what happened. if you can send us a piece of the waveform to look at, i could tell you more
