I would love to pickup greenone's 20' BLUE Kiwi cables but it seems like right angles would be more appropriate w/the UA5. Any UA5 users using straight xlrs into the front panel? Is it awkward? I'm such a gnoob....
Also, I will be running the UA5 into my D8. How do most folks have these situated to use in the field? Vertical? Horizontal?
Thanks
Brian
Moke is always on top of it! Looks like plenty of folks are using straights into the UA5, although seximexi's look like he's been using those quite a bit. ;)

After months and months of going click-click-click-click on EVERY SINGLE CHECKBOX, I just today figured out that the "check all" box will also
uncheck all. Might save some time for people like me who hate using the mouse (I'm a keyboard geek, what can I say?)
My two rubles, though I'm not a UA5 user - right-angles on the top panel aren't as big a deal if you're running it vertically though it's nice to get the cables out of the way so they're not sticking straight up in the air. I haven't seen many RA's in the field on UA5's but that's just my obesrvation. I opted for RA's because I run a V2 which only has XLRs in the back and I didnt' want to stress my connections. If/when I go to a 6v V2 instead of a 12v V2 I'll go to a right-angle power cable to completely take the stress off the XLRs...
I run my UA-5 vertical and normally have right angles on both ends. Run it out of a Nova5. The RAs allow you to close the lid basically all the way. I am gonna be running some straight cables for a while becasue I ended up with a short in the other set. Shouldn't be a big deal either way though.
