Hey folks.
I'm looking for a recommendation for a fur type windscreen for my R-09.
This one:
http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/R-09-MM-18
Or this one:
http://www.soundprofessionals.com/cgi-bin/gold/item/R-09-MM-22
Same price. Hmmmmmm.
Also, this guy:

Any thoughts?

Yes use a Rode Dead Kitten (http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/470272-REG/Rode_DEAD_KITTEN_Dead_Kitten_WindMuff.html) (designed for the NT4 and Stereo Video Mic)
Tested vs several others here - http://taperssection.com/index.php/topic,108533.0.html

Thanks for the tips.
I knew I was in the right joint.
Pulled the trigger on the dead kitten (so to speak)
http://www.sweetwater.com/store/detail/DeadKitten
$24.95 & free shipping.
At some point I'll be looking into a preamp for the R-09 to use with mics I already own.
SM-81's Oktava 012's, maybe EV 635's.
What's a good place to start looking?

lol, the R-09 fur on this site looks a lot like Ernie's (from Sesame Street) hair!

I would use the Rycote

I had a job at Rode making those, but after a while my wrists couldn't take it anymore.
