I'm thinking about getting an Oade Concert-mod R-44. I really like the way my T-mod HD-P2 sounds but I like having the availability of 4 channels.
Is there anyone on here that has gone from a ACM/T-mod HD-P2 and now has or has run a Concert-mod R-44? How do you think they compare sonically?
Thanks!

Personally, I think you should just get the OCM R44 and be done with it. Very nice recorder, smaller, ability to run 4ch, etc.
But if you want to do your own comparison some time, I'm happy to lend you my Oade R44 I need to get back my 3way splitter box from Scott sometime, so you could use that to split your mic signal to both the R44 and P2. Or Phil R has a pair of splitter cables you could probably borrow too. Actually, I guess Chuck has a pair now too.
Can't say though how it compares to the sound of the Tmod P2, since I haven't heard that much.

I just sold Foelske mine and he has some splitters, too.

I didn't realize you had an Oade R-44 Mikey. Maybe I'll get with Foelske at the next show and see what I can come up with.

I'd be interested in your opinions if you do a comp. I'm running an ACM P2 + stock P2 sync'd up for 4channels.... been diggin the results, but it's a lot to carry around. A 4channel box is in my future at some point most likely.
