I purchased the mics and batt box from E@rl (thanks dude ;D) and got the dr1 pretty cheap here in Ireland.
My first outing will be Wilco next week in Dublin.
I've been playing about at home with the gear trying various settings but I was wondering if anyone has any pointers as to levels etc?
Venue is small enough i.e, capacity of 1,500. I've been there on numerous occasions and imho the place has wonderful acoustics.
Any help would be appreciated.

fresh batteries.
if there is an opening act, record them to check your levels and equipment out. at my last recorded show, i was not going to record the opener, but decided to at the last second. turned out the battery in my batt box had died. i had a spare, but i'm glad i found this out during the opener and not during the main act.
