Anybody ever used one of these or heard anything about them?

they are pretty good according to the computer mag sitting in front of me

Pros: Fast DVD+R movie writing; competitively priced
Cons: Lacks 8MB buffer

Must be new, only a single review over on DVDRHelp.com's DVD Writer section when searching for the model number DED+440.  Looks like their may be more info/posts in the DVD Writer user forum - give it a look.

I have a TDK internal multi 4x 440N and it is great.  No problems...
