I ran nicks picks last night, I'm all ready to seed the WSP set

How do I list that for source notes?

I'm assuming MBHO 603a/ka200n
-
MBHO 603A / KA200N > pre/a-d > recorder
depends on how anal you are if you want to put that you used the actives. sonically it shouldn't make a difference

I'm assuming MBHO 603a/ka200n
ka200n>actives>603a>pre>recorder
that would be very thorough. 8)

ka200n > remote cables > 603a > pre > adc > recorder

The cables aren't active, they're cables
They are called Active Cables because they are used when the mics are assembled in that (remote) connection.
MBHO refers to the configuration as "Extended preamp with balanced capsule attachment".
Call them active cables
Schoeps "Active Collette Cables" do not contain any active(powered) components to the best of my knowledge.
(I don't think they have any passive components, either)
Schoeps people, feel free to jump in and tell me if I am missing something...
