Sweet. I've always wanted a pair for my bag. Some tapers that I use to know back in '99 always carried them.

i ordered from them 2 weeks ago, and i use paypal echecks to pay them. last time they waited for the cash to clear, this time they just sent the stuff like the next day.

last time i just ordered one 9.6v 3000mah battery, and instead of shipping it ups, they used usps priority and saved me 8 bucks on shipping and refunded that money to my paypal account!

Yes. 2 of them. You use them, correct?

Like em?

I do wish the batts came with a better charger though....but at those prices i can't complain. 4000mah/400mah charger = 10 hrs charge time.

Don't use them yet... I should pick some up though. Was looking around their site the other day trying to find the dual pack & didn't see it. Do you happen to have a link handy?

I assume you're talking about the dual UA-5 Batt pack?

I couldn't find the old ones......seems like this is the new one?

Holy crap, that's cheap! What, enough power to run your ua-5 for 12+ hours. Combine that with the other 3000mAh that comes with the charger and you've got a good festie setup. Unfortunate the charger only supplies 200mAh tho. It'll take you 45 hours just to get 'em charged.

I was talking about the laptop batts tho... Thought I saw a deal once involving two of them. Maybe its the crack talking?

no, I didn't see a 2 pack deal, so i just bought two of em. besides, you get a charger for each and a set of adapters for each. and apparently, a pair of bushnells!  ;D

oh well, maybe next month.

just got ym package, got to say that the bushnells are alot better than i had thought they would be, even after reading your post Joe

got me 2 more 9.6v 3000mah rc packs to power the MME, and a really nice smart charger that is FAST and has auto shutoff!

this is the package i bought, it has the smart charger with it. but you can buy it seperatly for 29.99 i believe

http://www.batteryspace.com/product.asp?0=278&1=280&3=375

it has a 2000mah output and then trickles at 50mah after that

Automatically cut-off by negative delta V when battery pack get fully charged.

automatic voltage detection... its really nice and sturdy, i like it allready!

that is a sweet package for that price. at 2000 mah output, charge in 1.5 hrs.

yep. having 3 of them, i cant sit around and mess with a 200mah charger.... the charger i had was a 7hr 200mah charger meant for lower mah batterys, and it was a PITA to have to unplug and plug back in 2 times to get a full charge

i can get ~5 hours out of each 3000mah pack with my MME, beats hauling around a SLA!

How does the charger get power? All I see are some tamiya connectors & alligator clips...

it has a standard 110 plug in on one end, the cord comes off so they probably dont have that pictured on the website

i figured i would get this cheapo charger, but this thing is really nice! for 30 bucks You Cant Go Wrong

charges at 2000mah then trickles at 50mah untill your pack is fully charged, then has auto shutoff! this is great! im lovin it!

I saw the talk about battery chargers, you can buy some really nice, high rate chargers on ebay.  I have an intellipeak, 3A/h for NiMhs, and can run off of DC (easy to make a car cig adapter), great for read trips.

Just trying to put some sense to this, I get confused easily. So it seems to make more sense to just gget a charger that you can run off the cig lighter into your batteries as apposed to running a power convertor into a charger into the battery right?
Also, that 3A/hr, how long then would it take to charge the 3000mah batts because that smart sharger Dustin was talking about charges them in 90 minutes!

Its festival prep time !!!!!!  ;D

that regular charger would take a long time! at 200mah that is 15hrs?!?!?! when you can have it topped off in < 2 .... no ? for me which charger to use!

yep. i agree. I would not go to a festie with a 200 mah charger. Not nearly enough time to charge those 3000mah batts.
