Title: church audio mic???????

just got my mic the other day and recorded tobi kieth last night... and i can say it is by far is the best recording from a hat that i have herd in a long time so the question is
i bought the two mic on sale and was wondering what the red tape is
are they the omnis or cards???????

Cards will have little cutout circles on the caps, while the omnis won't have any.

This only works if he has the CA-11s... and based on the question he doesn't. The CA-14s have permanently mounted windscreens so you cannot see the holes... which is why Chris Church adds the red and black shrinkfilm.

Yer welcome! I had the same question a few months ago when I got my CA-14s. A note with the mics should be included to address this question...
