will this set up work????
sound pros bcm 12-mini battery module (no model number)-r9
or
sound pros cmc-8(low sens modification)-mini battery module (no model number)-r9
finally
sound pro bcm 12-sbs-11 battery box-r9
im having a problem with my normal set up and need to use my back mics and/or battery box,
im not sure ill have time for a test run, and need to run it this thursday and friday.
finally, does the sound pro mini battery module have the same issues as the sbs-11 with the switches?
(the whole off meaning open topic)
thanks the help

I use SP-BMC-2>SP Box>R-09 no problems. Run line-in at maybe 15-20 gain for amplified rock
-
this battery box doesnt have a gain, just roll off switches. you refering to setting the r9 input at 15-20?
-
yeah, the r-09 input. i almost never use the rolloff on the box, easy to clean up extra bass in audacity and too easy to screw the recording up

i'd hate to mess up 2 shows
but you use the bcm2, mine are the 12. you think there would be any issues?
-
doubt it, i think they're rated for the same power specs...check the sound pros website maybe? they have everything listed. What do you mean about the box switches? mine has two inside the box (one for each channel)
-
my bad, i did find a model number for the battery box.
its the spsb-8, and each channel has 4 switches on the outside. hopefully this helps.
thanks

Then do what rhinowing and almost everyone else recommends and don't use the roll off. You should take advantage of the info the people on the board have learned the hard way.

to clarify about the switches (i'm assuming both boxes are set up the same): opening ALL the switches will cause you to get no signal. you to push the #1 switch on each channel to get no rolloff
