with the right bootloader? Right now the issue is I have 2 dead iriver 120 with drives and know way to change the bootloader

The CFMod is in the main rockbox code already some time, so any current or fairly recent (even 1 year old) release will do.

For the bootloader, you need to follow the instructions in the CFMod wiki on rockbox.org. I no longer have an h120 to check this on since I broke mine doing a wrong flash while working on the bootloader :/

I see, pretty much it has 2 be flashed. I got a hard drive coming

yo Seth, what size/brand card are you using? I recently got the CF adapter, but havent done the mod yet....I need to pick up a CF card.
