Title: Bumblebee VR-JBOX repair
Post by: marod70 on September 21, 2009, 10:21:18 AM
I have a VR box purchased here in the YS that has worked wonderfully until the other night.  I am getting no power from it.  Worked fine on 9/3, then I got nothing Saturday night.  I haven't dropped or banged it around.  I have a couple of different output cables for it, and neither one makes a difference, which makes me believe it is a problem with the box itself.

Is there anyone here that can look at it for me and possibly repair it?

Thanks!

I'd be willing to take a look into it for you..I repaired one before and it was an issue with the cable...perhaps it is the input cable from your battery to the box that is the issue.

I too have repaired one before and wouldn't mind looking at it.  In my case, someone tried to pull too much current through it (or shorted it) and one of the traces on the PCB fried.
