I'm sure this has been answered here somewhere, but I haven't been able to pull it up in a search.... Could someone please provide detailed instructions for disabling the big red record light? I've upgraded my firmware to 1.31 and set the Rec/Peak LED to "power save" in the Display Setup menu, but the red light still stays on the whole time I'm recording... What am I missing?

it's the 'display timer' field that you want to play with.

I aksed this question on another site and this is the repy i got.

Go to "Display Setup"
Scroll Down to "Rec/Peak LED" and change to "Power Save"

it works fine,goes off after a couple of seconds.
