Hi!
I have a minidisc Sony MZ-NH700MM with a Microphone Madness MCSM-5 cardioids and a Microphone Madness-EBM-1 (Bass Roll Off @ 69hz), it records fine but a little low.
I´m planning change the minidisc for a Edirol R09-HR, but my question is: my microphones record better than the built in mics of the Edirol?, how can I record with a sound higher? any other recommendable accessory?
Thanks!!

Your separate mics will most likely be better than built in, always. Built in mics are a compromise. The separate ones can be configured according to any of the known cardioid patterns. You cannot, it seems, use other configs with the MCSM-5's. Sorry.
If you have been feeding your MD through line-in rather than mic-in that would be why you are getting low levels. The Edirol offers the same option.
Good luck and have fun.

You could add a battery box and then go line in with better results.
