Title: trouble burning dvd's please help

i am using AVS to DVD and the files are changed to dvd files and it takes like an hour and a have to burn a dvd.

i dont understand what i could be doing wrong.  the good news is that they work in the dvd player  :)

i am using windows 7.  i cant get windows dvd maker to work at all.  that is why i am using avs. 

any help appreciated.
