Title: Vista and md5 verification (mkw)
Post by: tapeworm48 on November 09, 2009, 10:54:29 PM

I used to use MKW compression software to create/verify md5s.  Now with Vista, I wasnt able to install mkw software.

Anyone have any luck with it?  What are the other solutions?  I liked the fact that I could double click an md5 file and mkw would get to work right away.

FWIW, I also had trouble installing FLAC Frontend, and had to get TLH instead.  I used it to create an md5, but the verification doesn;t seem to work easily.

Thanks in advance.

how so?  there is a setting in tlh to start verifying as soon as you click on the md5/ffp

options > preferences > checksum > verify checksum

then check "start verifying automatically"

Thanks. That worked but I am getting some sort of error.

Any other good options/suggestions out there?

The invalide parameter error message reads:

The parameters passed contain invalid or incomplete commands. Processing will be terminated, and all parameters passed will be ignored.

Look familiar to anyone???
