Title: Edirol R-09HR Noise Help
Post by: Upow on November 29, 2009, 01:23:13 AM
I just purchased an Edirol R-09HR. I've listend to the sample recordings that came on the memory card, and they have no noise at all. When I try recording I get a lot of excess noise and I don't know how to get ride of it while still having good levels. Can anyone help me out? I've tried a lot of different settings and I can't really seem to get the noise to go away.

What sort of noise? Hiss?

What are you recording, how far away from it are you and what level are you recording at (high or low gain)?

At least make sure the ACG is off.

Can you post a sample of it?
