guys - i posted a short review of the Tascam DR-100, along with some sample clips, here:
http://www.gearslutz.com/board/remote-possibilities-acoustic-music-location-recording/455721-tascam-dr-100-short-samples.html
the sample recordings were done in the studio of a flute/piano duo - i tried the internal (UNI) mics, then tried km184s into the DR-100 XLR inputs, and then a clip of the km184s into my regular studio setup. the clips should give you an idea of how the internal mics sound, and how the internal preamps sound compared to normal decent studio pres (in this case, some moderately priced dbx pres).
