Title: wavelab 6 users, anyone using Crystal Resampler??
Post by: Gordon on January 18, 2010, 12:20:28 PM
recently made the switch to wavelab 6.  I've still been using resampler 192 to go from 48>44.1

today I tried the Crystal Resampler.  on the ultra setting it's taking about 13mins for a hour long file.  that is very slow on my machine (3ghz dual core, 4gig ram).

just started reading up on it and it seems wavelab 6's "stock" resampler is the Crystal Resampler at high.

so is anyone using it and at what setting?  I know high would be faster but don't know if at high it's better than resampler 192.  the little I read said ultra is much better then 192.

been using it myself and "feel" like I can hear a difference. the ultra setting on mine takes about 45 min for 2 sets so i generally stick with the high.

since this post I've been using high and it takes a bit longer than the "192" but not near as long as ultra.
