Title: cool edit Pro function location
Post by: pool on January 24, 2010, 10:58:24 AM
There's a function in Cool edit Pro with which one gets to lower or amplify a selection of a wav MANUALLY to bring it in line with desired level. I used it once but can't recall where it is. Can anyone help??

Not sure what you mean by "manually".  The Amplify function allows you to adjust gain manually.  Volume Envelope is even more flexible, allowing you to adjust gain with as many points as you wish to define the slope / curve.

CEP doesn't do that, but Audition does. Just highlight the selection, and a little volume knob appears above it. Turn it up.
