Title: Buzzing noise with AKG CK93 Active Setup?
Post by: jdwtyl on February 10, 2010, 04:20:00 PM
Hello,

I have a pair of AKG CK93s (actives) running through a CA9100 to an Edirol R-09HR, but all the tests I've done with the mics at home have left my recording with a constant "buzzing" sound.  Can anyone help me with what might be going wrong?

Thanks,
Jay

I'm unfamiliar with the mics, so I should keep quiet, but can you run the mics without the actives and try to duplicate.  At least that would take the actives out of question.

Found the solution to my own problem.  My extension cables were causing the problem.  Time for some new ones.  Anyone recommend a specific type of mini XLR to mini XLR???
