As I understand it is the same as the busman shock

Thanks for the link Ian.
I thought there was a thread around here that had pics of the joe meek, busman, a20, and these perhaps all next to each other for comparison.
Can't find the thread now though.

FWIW the Nady/Busman mounts are for 22mm mics unless things have changed. I bought a schoeps sled from posthorn for around $10, replaced the stock Nady sled and now have a great backup for my A20.

Busman now has a 20 mm version lined with felt.

FWIW, I just bought a pair of the Busman shocks for $40 shipped.
They have the smaller diameter outer ring. The mic holder cradles are lined with felt. The 5/8" threads on the bottom are not brass, they are plastic. For $40 he included the 5/8" to 3/8" adapters.
I checked how much it cost to ship a pair via UPS Ground to Colorado. (the link above) http://www.pro-audio-warehouse.com/ssm5.html
The total for a pair shipped was $41.42.

He must have raised his prices, i got a new pair from him in December for 35.00

Maybe he charged me a little extra for the adapters.

I used a small piece of self sticking foam weather striping in sde the cradle of mine to make the 22mm cradle fit 20mm bodies no problems- easy!
it also gives a little bit of cushioning
