I bought my Nak CM300s back in the early 80's. They haven't been used in like 25 years but were stored in the original foam box. Of course the batteries are way shot and I haven't been able to find replacements. What are my power options? Can I buy a battery that fits in the mic? Can I get some sort of external power supply (battery operated)? I read about some modifications that can be done buy I wouldn't be able to do that myself. I have cables to plug them into my SONY D-5 (1/4" phone jacks) but could get different cables if i needed to. I would like to be able to use them again but I need a power source.

Otheronek is right. One thing though: The battery that is pictured might actually be a replacement other than the one shown.Reason I say this is because I ordered the same battery from 2 separate places(Radio shack being one), and the battery they sent me is different than the one pictured.I don't think the one pictured they make anymore. The replacement is similar, but just slightly less rounder. In othe words,if you happen to use the CP4 shotguns for your Nak 300's,the battery might be just a little loose when you insert the battery inside the Nak300 mic. When you go to screw the CP4 shotgun into the mic,the battery might be very slightly loose. You can help it connect better by wrapping the battery a few times with electrical tape.Hope this makes sense.Good luck!

Higher mAh rating. Works fine with the guns.
