Title: Sony PCM-M10 Internal Mics Sample
Post by: Cheesecadet on April 07, 2010, 07:19:24 PM
Here's a sample I took last night with the internal mics @ 24/96.  It's the Bellagio Fountains in Las Vegas.  The recorder was placed about 5' under one of the speakers along the railings.
No editing was done to the file.

Just thought I would upload for others who might want to hear what they sound like.

I posted this on the main PCM-M10 thread, but I thought I would also post this hear for comparison. Hope the original poster does not mind.

This is the final track (about 11 minutes) from a performance last night featuring William Parker, Hamid Drake and Evan Parker. I was seated in the third row approximately 15 - 20 feet from the stage. The recording was done with the internal mics (my Church Audio mics are inproduction) with the recorder in my shirt pocket.

I'd need the rest of those flacs to TRULY evaluate the mics abilities
