Title: Has anyone used audio technica ATM 33a's for taping (now are AT 8003 i think)

Looking for opinions on using these mics for live taping outside. ? similar to akg 1000s from spec point of view and  what would they go into..UA-5? Basically I have them for mandolin and guitar mics now but wondered if would be satisfactory for using at outdoor bluegrass shows.
