Title: Musician's Friend Lo-Z Mic Cable
Post by: shroominhumpy on February 04, 2004, 06:58:40 PM
I was wondering how these cables are and if anyone has used them. Here are some manufacturer specs.
Durable XLR connectors with built-in strain relief and braided copper shielding for a lifetime of totally noise-free use.

Oxygen-free copper wire and heavy-duty heatshrunk tubing for strain relief ensure long life and a totally clean signal. Unconditional lifetime warranty. 20'.

Features:

Durable XLR connectors with built-in strain relief
Braided copper shielding for optimal reduction of electrostatic hum
Oxygen-free copper wire
Heavy-duty heatshrunk tubing for strain relief
Unconditional lifetime warranty
20'

Are these worth it. I will be running AKG C1000's>Samson Mixpad>Sony MZ-N505? I can get them shipped for about 21.00. Worth it or not?

i ran the same rig you're running i had no problem with my whirlwind cables.  I couldn't imagine those cables would be much different from my whirlwinds.  Im still using my whirlwinds.  Mic cables are the next thing im gonna buy.
