Title: Can anyone out there fix iriver h120's?
Post by: mmadd29 on April 29, 2010, 09:37:27 AM
I'm not sure if this is the right forum, if not mods please move...

I have an iriver that took a dump.  It was recording at a show, and after the fourth set just died.  It doesn't power up or anything.  The drive is good, because I yanked it out, and got the data off with no issues.  It also doesn't have a battery in it, I just used AC since I do all open shows.

If anyone can fix please let me know, if not I may just trash it and look for another.

Thanks in advance.

I'm surprised to works without a battery, I thought the power regulator needed a certain batt level before it allowed operation.

In any case, if you are going to throw it away - don't. There's a lot of people looking for spare-parts or who can maybe fix it. Give me a yell if you really need to get rid of it, or e-bay it....
