Title: dat settings

on my pcm m1 , do i want the sttings to be 0 db or 20 db, i had it on 0db the other night  put it was very close to distorted.

20 dB except if recording very quiet stuff. 20 db means 20 dB attenuation. 0 dB means no attenuation.
