Title: Schoeps Changed Their Mounts
Post by: H₂O on October 08, 2010, 08:44:59 PM

This may be old news but.

Just got back from Redding and Schoeps has redesigned there A20, SGC, and AMS22 (Just replaced the plastic base)

The A20 now is made out of stronger more pliable plastic (Scott folded the center mount to the point where the open gap touched and it did not break) and the base is metal.  The new A20 should be more giving on the finish of your body

The SGC clips are now made out of a stronger more pliable plastic and alot thicker than before but there is little give between the two sides so it will be harder to put on to your KC ends - base still the same plastic base as it appeared to me.

AMS22 has a metal base

I just picked up new elastics and 3 metal bases for my AMS22 and 2 of my A20's.
