Greetings,
Listening today to a decent radio broadcast in MP3 (downloaded, not streamed) from a show I also taped.
Combine the radio version (strong vocals, but mix is weak on the rest) and my recording (stronger on the band and atmosphere) and in theory, all the elements could be interesting. But before I try to sync things up a question: would matrixing a lossy source and a lossless source be a waste of time?
Thanks in advance for feedback.

If it sounds better than...no.
I've done it before and haven't been disappointed.

Ditto. If it sounds better, go for it. Keeping the tracks aligned in time could be a pain; try one tune and you'll know if you're sufficiently motivated to fix the whole show.

Good advice, I'll give it a test and see how things go.
