I've been having an issue the last few runs with my MT II giving me an error: spdif signal not present. This is strange because the levels are still bouncing on the pre-amp. There is a mini-me behind it running xlr in, coax out.
I tried going 1/4" in on the MT straight out of the board and didn't have any problems. I truly hate most everything M-audio, but I have a bad feeling the digi-out on my mini-me is shot.
If anyone's had a similar issue or any idea what's going on I'd be stoked to hear feedback. Tryna catch MMW in Buffalo tomorrow night

Just solved my own problem- the stock connection is pretty shoddy and after some years in the field it separated from the board. Little soldering and she's back up & running stronger than ever. For once it wasn't the damn Microtrack : )

the loose RCA connection is not unique to your Mini-Me - many people have experienced the very same issue in the past. It seems like you've taken care of your problem with a little solder. Other people opt to just use the AES output instead of the RCA S/PDIF output. Just another option that I thought I'd mention.
