So I've seen a lot of Schoeps users mount their vertical address capsules backwards on ORTF or DIN Kwon/NOLA Bars and it got me thinking.
If mounting backwards on an ORTF bar you are still 17 CM apart but are the capsules still pointing in a true 110 angle?
How about DIN or DINa bars. 17/20 cm apart but if backwards your caps are really starting to point towards the walls of the venue and not the stacks.
Any thoughts? Did I explain the questions/statment clearly?

Ned, On a DIN bar, it's still 90 degrees backwards, but on an ORTF bar, they are at 70 degrees when mounted backwards. I would think running 41Vs like that would probably work well, but not so much with the 4Vs, unless you want to be pointing at the stacks.

Nice, thanks Brad.

actually you'd be surprised. This was a HUGE discussion point when it first came up on here in about in 2004. People had to draw charts and shit in order to demonstrate that, no, you weren't running ORTF when you ran V's backwards on the ORTF bar. It was like the Catholic Church and Copernicus.
