I know there aren't too many mytek users to answer my question, but i'll ask anyway.
what bag do you use?
i've used a rakgear for 8 years now and I might be looking to explore another option....but the mytek is 8 inches deep + xlrs off the back...

This works..... no affiliation......

And then put that inside of a standard laptop shoulder bag.... something like this (no affiliation)....

Helps to put stilts on it and use all RA cables too.

I just got a mytek and ran it for the first time last night. The mytek size and form is very similar to the apogee mini units. So basically anything that works well for the apogees would work well for the mytek. Most apogee users build a rack or use the apogee bag. I first built a rack to hold a minime and v2. Since then I was able fit a minime/minimp, v2/v3, and now v2/mytek in the same rack. Take a look at some photos of my minime/mp combo in the rack.

Basically it's a 10$ laundry rack that I modified with some pliers, wire cutters, and hack saw. Others have used prefabracated metal closet shelfing from the home depot to build something similar. With some foam and zip ties you can put anything in a rack like this. For foam I used one of those foam things that you sleep on when you are camping. Just wrapped the units, cut the foam, tape it all together, and stuff it into the rack.

Thanks to Ted for the cables that made this possible. After 9 years with the Rakgear, I think I can finally retire it for the Lowepro Magnum 200 AW

Is the Mytek propped up on something? I was running it vertically like that but it put too much strain on the DC in jack. A solder joint came loose and I had to send it in.

That is the same way that I run mine and I have never had a problem with the RA DC in and the RA chopped XLR's.

DIY stilts in a Tamrac 5607. Pretty similar size to the Magnum 200 it seems.
