Title: SoundForge 10.0 Pro Izotope 64 bit SRC
Post by: ifthir on November 23, 2010, 09:37:43 AM
I noticed over on http://src.infinitewave.ca/ (http://src.infinitewave.ca/) that the Izotope 64 bit SRC seems to be a very good performer in sample rate conversion. I've got Sound Forge 10.0 pro and have the ability to use this SRC. It looks to be a bit better than r8brain pro?

My question is what are the best settings here to keep the 16/44 recording as true to the 24/96 as possible? There are a variety of options and I have not been able to find a good list of the correct settings. Should I just be using the 'dumbed down' settings and choosing highest quality?

Obviously, my workflow would be

1. Sample Rate Conversion
2. Bit depth reduction

Any help is appreciated :)
