Hey-
We need some advice. We will be taking the line level out of an MM-1 into a portable recorder. We have the MM-1, but not the recorder yet. We don't care what the outboard mics sound like since we won't be using them. Anyone know what recorder will give the cleanest sound using the line level inputs. It needs to have manual level controls. The recorder is not for run and gun, but rather for sit-down radio broadcast interviews. Don't want to spend anymore than necessary. A SD 702 would be great, but we can't afford it right now... and I'm wondering, since we're using the pre on the MM-1 (and only need the line level recording path) if we can use less expensive gear and still get great results.
Thanks for your help.

what mic are you using with the pre-amp?

Might be good to clarify the budget with which account, and establish what recorder is within that category, I use the Sony D50 and M10 with good results (to unbalance the signal leave a pin no connected to reduce 6dB)
Anyway, someone saw this? I'm wondering wich price will be

We use a Shure WH30 Headset (Condensor). Also, we use a Sony ECM55 for when we're video-recording (instead of headset)
Thanks

I would be also curious. Looks like a good alternative with MP-1 (hopefully cheaper too).
