5/8 pipe insulation works like a charm. just cut a piece and wrap a couple of velcro ties around it.

I've seen people use foam pipe-insulation or a Cigar Caddy/Pelican Case with holes drilled/notches cut so that the bodies can just stay inside the case and the cables can be ran out of the holes.  I'm guessing t(.)(.)bs arrived??.......  sweetness!!!

I use gaffer taped insulation. I'm thinking about drilling out a Pelican Case I have, but the insulation works fine.

Me too.

Right now I'm running them wrapped in a small hand towel held in place with gaff tape. Works, but totally ghetto...

My VST62Iu stays connected to the 5pin XLR and lives in the RM-Multi, under the pelican 1050 that hods the caps, KCY, shock and kwon bar
It is covered in 1.5" heat shrink.  Not worried about shock protection, just scratch protection.  There is a piece of velco attached to the heatshrink that holds it in place, when attached to the KVY the 5pin xlr sits at the bottom of the bag and kcy connect to the top

the additional cable pictured is the KS10 extension cable

I think posthorn sells portective sleeves for $999 each,  ;D >:D

I use a little fishing tackle box & anti-static foam for my @&% 460 bodies.  http://taperssection.com/index.php?topic=115732.msg1547673#msg1547673
You can find them at walmart/kmart for a few bucks.  I have since chopped off the capsule section so it takes up less of a foot print.
