I have like 200 DATs from the ol' jamband days and want to get a DAT machine to transfer these shows. They have been taking up space and its time to toss them.I have soooo many that are unreleased jambands from back in the day. I got riipped off by some guy on ebay with a lemon so I was wondering if anyone knew a credible place to buy one. A player is what I'm looking for. Thanks.

You may want to see if someone here will just transfer them for you

If I wasn't swamped with like 5 bazillion DATs from several different people, I'd be happy to do them for you...
There are people around willing to Xfer for you...

Mike, did you go by tapergold at one point? If so, I'm your huckleberry for any Traveler you've still got lying around :)

I bought a sweet Panasonic SV-3800 on ebay for $150 about two years ago. I think this unit was like $2500 new back in the day. Still playing back those 10-20 year old DATs flawlessly.
I would offer to help, but I just took on another small DAT transfer project along with trying to do all of my own 1990's masters.
