Basically I want to be able to play my master .m2t files from my camcorder captures on my nice tv. Not sure if this route would work or would I better off playing it on the pc and wirelessly sending it to my tv? Thoughts?

This one apparently will play m2t files even though I don't see it in the specs. The reviews say it does. Plus it plays flac which is cool.
Thoughts? Experiences? Let em fly.

The one you listed is v1 of that product. Last year's model if you will. Good product but with lots of little head scratchers though. Many threads on avs about it. Recertified models are going for $50.
The new model is $36 cheaper than your link and has more functionality. It's official name is the Western Digital WD TV Live Plus HD Media Player.

The only issue I know of with the WD: does not play gapless. That was a deal-kill for me. May not matter for some, so besides that, the WD looks good so far.
