Hi folks,
I got both mics, but I don´t know, which are the cards / omnis.
One of the mics is marked red.. :-\
Thanx :)
-
the ones with 'holes' in the main body are cards
-
Hi, thanx. But what you seem to mean, are the CA11 ;)
The 14 don´t have holes :-\
-
The ones with the red tag around the base of one mic are the omnis.

Carlitos,
apologies, I confused the two ::)
-
i just received the both at the same time, that is worth to know!

as mentioned above the red base indicates omnis. I also use both the CA-14 omnis and cards, the actual mic body on the cards is longer while the omni mics are shorter and fatter. fat mics = fat bass in this case, i like to make analogies to help me remember things like this.
I dont know if this applies to everyone's CA-14 gear but my cards have the alligator clip on right channel mic pointing to the left while the omnis have the alligator clip on the right mic pointing to the right. i believe my CA-11 cards are like the CA-14 cards in that aspect(alligator clips pointed towards each other if mics are setup L - R).

I REALLY regret selling my CA14[card/omni]>SP BB/9100 setup :(

I'm EAGER to test my CA-14's. This Friday ;D If they're as mindblowing as everyone says, I might get a pair of omnis as well, they can come in handy for the festival season (which promises to be particullarly fantastic this year in Spain).
