Title: What format webstream should I record?
Post by: yltfan on March 04, 2011, 07:16:52 PM
Flash  |  128k MP3  |  32k MP3  |  48k AAC+   |   40k OGG

I need to record a radio stream tonight, and not sure which of the above makes the most sense, especially since the recorder I was planning to use does not have AAC or OGG. I don't really have time to do the research, or testing, and I know some of smart tapers can steer me in the right direction...

I have Audacity, aTube Catcher, Foobar, some other stuff...

Thanks in advance!!!

You want to record the highest bitrate stream that is available.  The 128 kbit/sec MP3 stream is the best.
